Fone Haus Brand Ambassador Visit POM Stores

It was a spectacular week for Fone Haus to finally have our brand ambassador Jonathan Thurston over to Papua New Guinea for a visit. The arrangement made with our brand ambassador and rugby league legend was to visit all FoneHaus shops in Port Moresby as well as our two charity partners of Fone Haus; the Bel Isi Management Case Centre and Life PNG Care in which the events turned out to be successful.

For our Fone Haus Shop visit, it was all bright smiles, greetings from our retail staff and store managers and TikTok dances, when FoneHaus brand ambassador, Jonathan Thurston stepped into each respective FoneHaus outlets in Port Moresby. A few ecstatic customers shopping were thrilled to have been allowed the opportunity to meet the rugby league legend. 

After his official visit to each shop, we scheduled an engagement with our charity partners from Bel Isi Management Case Centre and Life PNG Care who were really excited and pleased to welcome us.  Femili PNG CEO Daisy Plana also made a statement thanking Jonathan Thurston, Namba Wan Trophy Haus and FoneHaus for making this visit possible for their organization, which has motivated their staff knowing that their work has been appreciated and recognized.

 

Our last community engagement was with Life PNG Care. It was a remarkable experience for everyone including our FoneHaus Brand ambassador, as a crowd of children stood in line holding up placards that read “Welcome JT”.  Their heartwarming greeting touched the heart of rugby league legend as he stated upon arrival, “I’m excited to be here today. Out of the whole trip, my favorite place to be is seeing you kids.” As part of Thurston’s visit, we donated 80 backpacks to the children of Life PNG Care, which included towels, toiletries and a notebook with the addition of Colgate Dental packs sponsored by Colgate PNG.
